Jockeys top chain tensioner

The Jockeys Boxenstop chain guide allows tensioning the chain in both directions. Due to this property as well as its extra large chip area, it is possible to combine almost all crownwheel - sprocket combinations without using a worn chain. After a long design- and testing phase the Jockeys Boxenstop chain guide finally hit the market. The chain guide is a product of Jockeys Boxenstop (J`SB) and 100% made in Bavaria. It is made from a laser-cut and CNC-machined steel base plate and a nylon upper part. These two components are assembled with secured screws. The used nylon provides a low coefficient of friction with minimal wear, and could be changed individually. J`SB recommends using Loctite to install their guide and to abandone the original lower chain guide. They also recommend using uprated chain guides like this on tuned and even on standard engines. The standard ones often fail, could even snap off and destroy the transmission and/or casing.
