Casa Performance 4 plate clutch conversion kit for Lambretta J range and LUI

4 plate clutch conversion kit for Lambretta J + Lui-Vega-Cometa models. Original clutches for small frame models have just 2 or 3 plates, so with the advent of the more powerful CP One35 kit, a more robust clutch is needed. This kit is a cheaper alternative to the 5 plate, 10 spring LunaMaster clutch, although some work may be required to carry out the conversion.  

The kit consists of the following parts:

1  x  Casa Lambretta central clutch spider (choice for Lambretta model)

5  x  200cc type clutch springs (M296)

3  x  metal J / Lui clutch steel plates (M330)

4  x  Largeframe type red sintered Casa Performance clutch discs (X34a)

For J Range models, if using a Casa Lambretta clutch sprocket crownwheel Item. M251(46T) - M338(47T) - M339(46T) you will need to file the lip off each aperture, as indicated by the green pen in the photo. If you use an original clutch sprocket crownwheel, you may also need to turn down the inside diameter until the red clutch plates can move freely, up and down.

Per Luna Line (Lui, Vega, Cometa) models, you will need to change the original clutch sprocket crown wheel for a Casa Lambretta J Range version Item. M251(46T) - M338(47T) - M339(46T) and you will need to file the lip off each aperture, as indicated by the green pen in the photo.

For both J Range and Luna Line 4 (or 5) speed models ONLY! There is an option to add a Casa Performance clutch crown wheel sprocket in 45T, 46T or 47T sizes. This is the same crownwheel utilised for the LunaMaster clutches by Casa Performance.
